Eagle Broadband Schedules Conference Call to Discuss Second Quarter Fiscal 2006 Results

Eagle Broadband, Inc. (AMEX:EAG), a leading provider of broadband,
Internet Protocol (IP) and communications technology and services,
announced today that the company will report its fiscal 2006 second
quarter results for the three month period ending February 28,
2006, after the market closes on Wednesday, April 12, 2006. The
company will host a conference call for investors at 5:30 PM
Eastern time to discuss second quarter results and to provide an
update on the company's business and recent customer successes. The
conference call will be webcast over the Internet. Participants
will be able to access the call via the Internet through Eagle
Broadband's website at www.eaglebroadband.com using Microsoft
Windows Media Player or Real Networks RealPlayer. The call will be
recorded and available for replay via the Investor Relations
section of the Eagle Broadband website. Eagle was expecting to
announce its second quarter financial results on Monday, April
10th. However, due to the company's continuing review of the
accounting treatment the company is required to apply to certain
financial instruments issued during the quarter under SFAS No. 133,
Accounting for Derivative Instruments and Hedging Activities, the
company has delayed announcing its second quarter results. Eagle
has timely filed a Form 12b-25 Notification of Late Filing with the
SEC. While such filing provides a five-day extension to file, Eagle
expects to file its 10-Q by April 12, 2006. Next Wednesday's call
will be hosted by Dave Micek, Eagle President and CEO, Juliet
Markovich, Principal Accounting Officer, and will include a
management update followed by a question and answer period.
