"Cablevision 2nd-Quarter Profit Surges, But Loses Customers" at 9:12 a.m. EDT incorrectly said Cablevision had 3.6 million customers at the end of the year-earlier quarter. The company had 3.3 million customers a year earlier. The error also appeared in the first update that ran at 12:06 p.m. EDT.
