(NASDAQ:GDYS) today reported total sales of $205.9 million for the fiscal month of December 2005 (the five weeks ended December 31, 2005), an increase of 4.5% from total sales of $197.1 million for the fiscal month of December 2004 (the five weeks ended January 1, 2005). Comparable store sales for December 2005 declined 0.9% compared with December 2004. Total sales for the first 11 months of fiscal 2005 increased 0.7% to $1.214 billion from $1.206 billion during the same period last year. Comparable store sales for the first 11 months of fiscal 2005 declined 4.6% from the same period last year.
