Temporary Closure of Hayes Lemmerz' Indiana Operations Due to
Explosion NORTHVILLE, Mich., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Hayes Lemmerz International (BULLETIN BOARD: HAYZ) Huntington
Operations in Indiana has been shut down temporarily due to an
explosion on October 29, 2003, at approximately 8:00 p.m. that
resulted in three injuries, including one fatality. All employees
were evacuated from the facility and were notified not to report to
work during the temporary closing. (Logo:

occurred in the rear of the manufacturing facility. The cause of
the accident is being investigated. "We are deeply saddened by this
