Hayes Lemmerz Brake and Powertrain Components Group Receives ISO/TS 16949:2002 Certification NORTHVILLE, Mich., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc. , announced today that all facilities in its Brake and Powertrain Components Group have achieved ISO/TS 16949:2002 (with design) Certification, from the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), a worldwide consortium of automotive manufacturers and trade associations. The group's systems were audited and certified bySmithers Quality Assessments Inc. (SQA), an independent accredited registrar. ISO/TS 16949 certification acknowledges that the supplier has the requisite systems in place for the design/development, production, installation and servicing of automotive- related products.
