Will Support Education, Community, and
Museum Programs
Sold Out Event to be Held Friday, October
10
On Friday, October 10th, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts will
host its third annual Wine Pairing Dinner, which has been
underwritten by Montreign Operating Company, LLC (“Montreign”), a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Empire Resorts, Inc.
(NASDAQ-GM:NYNY).
The sold-out event is the not-for-profit's primary annual
fundraiser and the money raised helps support the organization's
mission to inspire, educate, and empower through the arts and
humanities.
Support for the event also comes from Moore Insurance, Choice
Words, Ovations Food Service, and Vining Sparks, with further
donations from the Stuart Salenger Foundation and Hudson Valley
Cattle Company.
Guests at this year’s dinner, held in the venue’s intimate Event
Gallery, will enjoy a selection of California wines provided by
Deutsch Brands and carefully chosen to compliment a four-course
gourmet meal. The evening will also feature live entertainment, a
silent auction, and the opportunity to learn more about the
positive impact that Bethel Woods' educational, community and
museum programs are having on our community, especially our
youth.
Montreign will generously support this year's event, which was
underwritten by its parent company, Empire Resorts, last year.
Montreign, which has proposed to develop the Montreign Resort and
Casino as part of the master-planned, $1 billion four-season
destination resort, Adelaar, is the only Sullivan County applicant
for a gaming facility license that has signed a cooperative
agreement with Bethel Woods and Upstate Theaters for a Fair Game,
the coalition that represents live entertainment venues in New York
State that would be impacted by the emergence of casinos.
“As the only Sullivan County applicant to sign the Fair Game
cooperative agreement to date , Empire Resorts has once again
demonstrated its decades-long commitment to our community and its
desire to have a lasting, positive impact on Sullivan County,” said
Chief Executive Officer of Bethel Woods, Darlene Fedun.
“Montreign is proud to continue our support for Bethel Woods and
their mission,” Charles Degliomini, Executive Vice President,
Government Relations and Corporate Communications for Empire
Resorts added. "We have been a part of this community for over 55
years so our roots are deep, which is why we understand how vital
Bethel Woods is to the region, and the value of the positive impact
their programs have on the lives of children and families within
the community.”
“We are so very grateful to all of the businesses, foundations,
and individuals who have helped to make this year’s Wine Pairing
Dinner a success. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the
night will be used to not only sustain, but expand our education,
community, and museum programs. We depend on events like these, and
the generous support of those who underwrite and attend, to
continue to present and expand meaningful programming,” concluded
Fedun.
