Rogue Wave Software Releases Stingray Studio 2006 Version 2

providing reusable software components and services that facilitate
application development, today announced the release of Stingray
Studio� 2006 Version 2, Objective Grid 11.0 and Objective Toolkit
10.0. The Stingray� product suite simplifies the development of
Windows-style front-end applications, shortening development time
and easing application maintenance and evolution. With this
release, users have the option of 32-bit or 32/64-bit versions of
each Stingray product. With the 32/64-bit versions, developers can
take advantage of 64-bit processors to add speed and performance to
their GUI applications. In addition, the Visual Studio Integration
has been streamlined into the Stingray product by adding Visual
Studio Integration into the installer. �We are excited to release a

been asking for 64-bit support, and we are seeing a very positive
response to our 64-bit preview offering. This new version of
Stingray Studio should enable developers to shorten development
time and make it easier to maintain and evolve GUI applications

resources to support the business logic of mission-critical
applications.� Stingray Studio 2006 version 2 offers software
developers several key enhancements to facilitate and simplify the
development and migration of "Microsoft-style" front-ends for
applications built on Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC), ActiveX
or Microsoft .NET technology platforms. The latest version of
Stingray studio also provides the following enhancements: Objective
Grid for Microsoft.NET as a standard feature of Objective Grid No
need for a separate Wizard to integrate Visual Studio, Stingray
products now provide full integration of the development
environment as part of the install process. The enhanced Stingray
Studio and individual Stingray products are now available directly
from Rogue Wave Software and through authorized resellers. Current
Stingray Studio customers may download the Stingray Studio 32-bit
