Encore Energy Partners LP (NYSE:ENP) (the “Partnership” or “Encore”) announced today that the board of directors of its general partner has declared a cash distribution attributable to the second quarter of 2011 of $0.47 per unit payable on August 12, 2011 to unitholders of record on August 5, 2011. This represents a $0.02 decrease from the $0.49 per unit quarterly distributions paid for the first quarter of 2011 and a $0.03 decrease from the second quarter 2010.

Encore also announced today it will release its second quarter 2011 financial results before the market opens on August 4, 2011. In conjunction with the release, Encore has scheduled a conference call that will be broadcast live over the Internet on Thursday, August 4, starting at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time (10:00 a.m. Central). Prepared remarks by Scott W. Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Richard Robert, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will be followed by a question and answer period.
