GTECH Enters Into New $500 Million Senior Revolving Credit Facility
WEST GREENWICH, R.I., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GTECH
Holdings Corporation (NYSE:GTK) today announced that its
wholly-owned subsidiary, GTECH Corporation, has entered into a new
$500 million senior revolving credit facility. The new credit
facility is unsecured and matures in October 2009. Bank of America
and Calyon were the lead arrangers, with the syndicate being
comprised of the following seven other major financial
institutions: Bank of Nova Scotia, KeyBank, Wachovia Bank,
Commerzbank, Citizens Bank, Fifth Third Bank, and SunTrust Bank.
"The fact that we were able to attract a syndicate of such strong
banks, and increase the size of our current credit facility from
$300 million to $500 million with improved terms and conditions,
are clear indicators of GTECH's financial strength," said GTECH
Treasurer William M. Pieri. "The new credit facility will continue
to provide us with substantial financial flexibility, and combined
with our strong cash flows, will provide a considerable pool of
capital as the Company continues to execute its business strategy."
