For more than a decade, antenna balls bearing the likeness of Jack, the witty spokesman for Jack in the Box� restaurants, have casually cruised atop car antennas from coast to coast. But on Monday, Oct. 27, Jack in the Box is rolling out a brand-new breed of antenna balls and this time they're on a mission � raising funds and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters, an evidence-based organization that changes how children grow up in America. The new antenna ball, dubbed "Beanie Jack," features a classic Jack-style antenna ball wearing a multi-colored beanie cap topped with a propeller. Beanie Jack will be sold for $1, excluding tax, at all participating Jack in the Box restaurants, while supplies last. Seventy percent of Beanie Jack sales will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters, the primary charitable partner of The Jack in the Box Foundation for the past 10 years. Jack in the Box will also be promoting its Big Brothers Big Sisters partnership at the 2009 Tournament of Roses� Parade in Pasadena, Calif., where the company will enter its first-ever float. Additionally, Jack in the Box guests will have the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes online to win a football- package trip to Pasadena. The sweepstakes, which runs from Oct. 27 � Dec. 14, includes four tickets to the Jan. 1, 2009 bowl game, four airline tickets to Los Angeles, a hotel room for four nights, and a Jack Cash� card for $250.
