Himalayan Capital Corp. ("Himalayan" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:HIM.P)
announces the termination of its previously announced (see November 18, 2010
press release) proposed qualifying transaction with PyroGenesis Canada Inc.


Himalayan will continue to pursue and evaluate other businesses and assets with
a view to completing a qualifying transaction and will make further
announcements with respect to these efforts as soon as practically possible. 


Trading of the common shares of the Corporation is expected to resume, subject
to regulatory approval, on Friday, January 21, 2011.
