MGWFF) is pleased to announce that Woodmere Nursery Ltd.
("Woodmere") has obtained a Foundational Building Permit
(the "Permit") from the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako
in connection with the 30 acres of land being leased by Maple Leaf
from Woodmere for the Company's proposed cannabis cultivation
facility in Telkwa, British
Columbia (the "Telkwa Facility"). Pursuant to the
Permit, the lands, buildings and structures at the Telkwa Facility
are permitted for horticulture, nursery, greenhouse, and intensive
agriculture use. The Permit is not being issued for the use of
lands, buildings and structures for a medical cannabis production
facility at this time, until adequately authorized under the
Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations
(ACMPR) and applicable zoning by-laws. Preliminary field
clearing will commence immediately, and the foundation for the
Telkwa Facility is anticipated to be constructed immediately
thereafter.
