Riverside Resources Inc. ("Riverside" or the "Company") (TSX
VENTURE:RRI)(PINKSHEETS:RVSDF)(FRANKFURT:R99) is pleased to announce results
from the 2013 exploration program at the Flute and Lennac Designated Properties
located near Smithers in central British Columbia (BC) which lead toward
potential exploration core drilling in 2014 of the Massive Sulfide Zone and
other targets in the large Flute and Lennac properties. This season's
exploration work at Flute and Lennac consisted of RC drilling, Ah-horizon soil
sampling, induced polarization geophysical surveying, geological mapping and
rock sampling. The partner-funded exploration, undertaken by the Company's
Exploration Alliance with partner Antofagasta Minerals S.A. ("Antofagasta"),
generated new anomalous copper-gold targets with three new porphyry style
intrusive centres discovered in this season's work with the new Massive Sulfide
Zone being of particular interest.

A total of 77 top-of-bedrock RC drill holes (11 Lennac, 66 Flute) for a total of
1649 m were completed during the 2013 field season. This summer's RC program was
designed to follow up on copper porphyry target areas delineated in 2012 as well
as test new target areas identified from the 2012 airborne magnetic surveying
and the collection of 725 Ah-horizon soil samples earlier in the field season.

The 2013 exploration season was highlighted by the discovery of three new
intrusive centres with porphyry style alteration and anomalous copper and gold
on the Flute property identified by top-of-bedrock RC drilling. Following up on
favourable results from 2012 RC drilling at Lennac, a zone of quartz stockwork
veining with potassic alteration in hornfelsed volcanics with anomalous Cu was
identified. Broadly spaced Ah soil sampling results also identified four
priority targets for follow up including a 1.2 km copper-in-soil anomaly over
120 ppm copper at the Red Top prospect which remains open in three directions;
the highest sample from the Red Top prospect returned 0.19% Cu and 70 ppb Au.

Riverside's President and CEO, John-Mark Staude, commented, "Riverside recently
announced a new funded project in the British Columbia Copper Belt from
Antofagasta which coupled with this summer's work on these two gives Riverside a
strong progress in our BC exploration efforts. The fact that Riverside's
exploration team has been able to apply grass roots generative techniques to
find new porphyry Cu style systems and the identified mineralized systems
continue to be advanced and expand in defining size is very positive. The second
year of exploration work at Flute and Lennac outlined more copper-gold and found
the Massive Sulfide Zone. Through the encouraging results from soils and RC
drill holes we are pleased to look toward spring 2014 to work with Antofagasta
to now drill test these with core drilling to get into the heart of the systems.
We look forward to further work and results in BC with the Alliance now having
three strong projects with the recently announced agreement for the Swift Katie
copper project."

Further 2013 Program Details:

The Massive Sulphide Zone is a newly discovered copper porphyry target area on
the Flute property. The Massive Sulphide Zone sits adjacent to a large circular
magnetic feature identified by the Alliance's 2012 detailed airborne geophysical
results at the junction of a regional north-south and north-west trending
faults, a favourable structural setting. Top-of-bedrock RC drilling identified
an intrusive centre with quartz stockwork veining and potassic alteration
hosting disseminated pyrite. A second intrusive centre east of the Massive
Sulphide Zone with porphyry style alteration and disseminated pyrite was
discovered on the eastern margin of a circular magnetic feature. Anomalous
copper in RC chips up to 587 ppm was returned over a 1.5 km strike length.

At the Mouse showing, RC top-of-bedrock drilling continued northward, following
up on results from 2012 RC drilling. Top-of-bedrock RC drilling from 2013
identified a broad, 1 km wide zone of disseminated pyrite hosted within altered
volcanics and intrusives. The Mouse Zone lies due east of the Skinbone fault, a
regional structure thought to form the western boundary of the Babine Graben
that projects through towards the past producing Bell and Granisle mines.

Top-of-bedrock RC drilling on the Lennac property focused on following up
favourable alteration and anomalous copper identified in 2012 RC drilling. This
target area is located along a regional north-south trending fault and adjacent
to a broad circular magnetic feature identified in 2012 airborne geophysical
surveying. During 2013, altered and hornfelsed volcanics with quartz stockwork
veining and disseminated sulfide was discovered on the margins of the magnetic
feature returning up to 364 ppm copper.

These new discoveries validate the methodology of the work to date, and
demonstrate the continued prospectivity at the Flute and Lennac projects.
Riverside will continue to work with the data generated and is planning further,
detailed, work on the targets for the 2014 field season.
