Barclays Sells 6.84% Stake In Amadeus For EUR386 Million

Barclays PLC (BCS) Wednesday said it has sold a 6.84% stake in
Spanish travel technology provider Amadeus IT Holding SA (AMS.MC)
for EUR386 million, in a placement with qualified investors.
In a regulatory filing, Barclays said it sold the shares at
EUR12.60 each. Amadeus shares, which were briefly suspended earlier
in the day, last traded down 2.7% at EUR12.80.
In July, a group of Amadeus shareholders led by Cinven Ltd. and
BC Partners Ltd. sold a 9.2% stake in the firm for EUR569.9
million.
