In this new position, Mr. Ellis will play an instrumental role in locating and evaluating mining opportunities, assessing reserves and establishing procedures for such assessment, designing mining exploration activities for Bolivar or its subcontractors, preparing reports in the event mining leases are to be sold to third parties and implementing BMC operational procedures. Mr. Ellis is a Mechanical and Materials Engineer with development experience ranging from oxide single crystal structures for electronic, magnetic and optical applications to the industrial design and installation of air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, air filtration, ventilation and three phase electrical systems. For over 15 years, Mr. Ellis has been involved in the development of drilling fluid programs, casing and cementing design for the oil and gas industry. Over the past decade, he has been involved in drilling and mining engineering, specializing in well drilling and design optimization methods for horizontal and multi-lateral wells, reservoir engineering, and rock mechanics, which Mr. Ellis states as his true engineering passion. In the field of geotechnical engineering, Mr. Ellis has successfully synthesized mechanical and materials engineering with his passion for geology and mineralogy and applied this to both opencast and underground mining operations, while mitigating the damage or impact to the environment as a result of mining production and ore processing. He has been involved in metals mining from field sampling to ore body estimation and evaluation to mine planning and design to providing the safest and healthiest possible environment for miners. Mr. Ellis has designed and developed innovative air filtration, ventilation and cooling systems for complex deep underground excavations internationally. Mr. Ellis is all but dissertated in his Ph.D. in Materials Engineering with minors in Mechanical and Structural Engineering from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds a M.S. in Ceramic Engineering from the School of Materials Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology and a M.B.A. in Finance from the Stetson School of Business and Economics, Mercer University.
