EVSO Negotiating Partnership with Solar-Nomics

Evolution Solar President Robert Hines announced today that the
company is negotiating a potential partnership with Denver-based
solar energy service company Solar-Nomics.
Both companies inked a non-disclosure agreement earlier this
month. Hines said on Thursday that an alliance with Solar-Nomics
could help enlarge the scope of Evolution Solar’s mission.
“Solar-Nomics can perform analysis and feasibility studies on
practically any solar energy project in the country,” Hines said.
“A potential partnership could give us a 360-degree view of the
photovoltaic marketplace.”
Solar-Nomics delivers solar energy solutions such as solar PV,
solar thermal and renewable energy generation to commercial
businesses and government entities in the U.S. and abroad. A
partnership with Evolution Solar could potentially open up
opportunities for the company to take on large-scale renewable
energy products in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
“We view a potential partnership with Evolution Solar as an
opportunity to better offer full service and value to our solar
clients,” said Solar-Nomics CEO Malcolm G. Burleson. "The future of
this burgeoning industry appears very bright as utilities across
the country strengthen their solar portfolios in an effort to lower
energy costs, promote clean air, and reduce greenhouse gases and
pollutants."
In Houston, Evolution Solar is partnering with Texas Southern
University to install eight AmpleSun thin-film photovoltaic panels
on the campus that are intended to serve as a cornerstone of the
new TSU Green Technology Center. The project will be Evolution
Solar’s first array featuring the AmpleSun panels in the U.S. The
company also recently completed construction on a solar
demonstration project in the City of Brookshire, Texas. These
projects should help Evolution Solar acquire new business in a
sector that is growing to compete in the energy industry, which
includes BP (NYSE: BP), Exxon Mobile Corp. (NYSE: XOM), Royal Dutch
Shell (NYSE: RDS-B) and Total S.A. (NYSE: TOT).
