Surgutneftegaz Declares $28 Billion Cash Pile

MOSCOW--OAO Surgutneftegaz (SNGS.RS), Russia's third-largest
crude oil producer, said Tuesday it had a cash pile of 879.6
billion rubles ($28.2 billion), in its first results published to
international standards in over a decade.
MAIN FACTS:
--Surgutneftegaz reported a net profit of 180.1 billion rubles
for 2012, a decrease of 35% from 275.0 billion rubles in 2011.
--The company's revenue for 2012 was 849.6 billion rubles, up
from 795.2 billion rubles in 2011.
--Annual output for 2012 was 61.4 million metric tons, 1% higher
than in 2011.
--Capital expenditure for 2012 stood at 153.7 billion rubles, up
from 126.0 billion rubles in 2011.
