Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange
Limited for 2,432,638 Ordinary shares of 10p each ('shares')
to be admitted to the Official List.  It is expected that
permission to admit the new shares will be granted on
Thursday 9 July 1998 and that dealings will commence on
Friday 10 July 1998.

These shares are being issued as a result of elections
received pursuant to the Scrip Dividend Offer in respect of
the final dividend for the year ended 31st January 1998.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued
Ordinary shares.
