AfriOre Limited announces that under a release agreement dated  09 October 2006
(and executed on 13 November 2006), releasing the Company from a continuing
obligation with regard to the acquisition of information and expertise under an
acquisition agreement dated 08 October 1999, the Company has issued 17,500 new
common shares of nil par value.


Accordingly, application has been made for 17,500 new common shares to be
admitted to trading on AIM which is expected on 22 November 2006.



Following this, the number of common shares in issue in the Company is
51,107,221.
