Fraser And Neave Limited :  Sale of 591, 000 Shares


BIL International Limited ("BIL") announces that through its wholly owned
subsidiary, Inscribe Investments Limited, it has sold 500,000 and 91,000 shares
of Fraser and Neave Limited ("F&N") at the price of S$7.85 and S$7.8610 per
share respectively.  BIL now holds 9.266% of the paid-up capital of F&N.
