American Airlines Executive Appointed to the Paul Quinn College Board of Trustees

FORT WORTH, Texas, March 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American
Airlines announced today Denise Lynn, Vice President - Diversity
and Leadership Strategies, has been appointed to the Paul Quinn
College Board of Trustees. Paul Quinn College is the only
historically black college in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Lynn
replaces Peggy Sterling, Vice President - Safety, Security and
Environmental at American Airlines, who served eight years on the
board. In 2008, Paul Quinn College honored Sterling by establishing
the American Airlines Peggy Sterling Trustee of the Year Award for
her long-time support of the institution. Lynn joined American
Airlines in 1989 as a financial analyst in Airline Planning and
moved to the Human Resources Department in 1992. In her current
role, she oversees all of the airline's diversity programs and
talent management initiatives. She previously served as the Vice
President - People for American Eagle Airlines, the regional
affiliate of American Airlines, where she was responsible for all
