                               Trading Statement



Armour is pleased to report that following on from the strong performance
reported at the half year to 29 February 2004, the Group has continued to trade
comfortably above market expectations. The Board believes that the financial
performance for the full year to 31 August 2004 will be significantly ahead of
current market expectations with the group operating profit being not less than
#3.0 million against current market forecasts of #2.75 million.
