Following the approval by shareholders of Australian Opportunities Investment
Trust PLC on 10th October 2002 to change its name to Stocks Convertible Trust
PLC, the change of name has taken effect on 14th October 2002 by the issue of a
certificate of incorporation on change of name by the Registrar of Companies.
On receipt by the Company, a copy of the certificate of incorporation on change
of name will be sent to the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility and
will be available for inspection there.
