    AIM Realisation Fund Limited (the "Company")

    Fourth Partial Redemption of Redeemable Preference Shares

    The Board today announces that the Company has given notice of its intention to compulsorily redeem 2,049,806 Redeemable Preference
Shares of 0.01p each in the Company (the "Preference Shares") on 26 September 2008 for cancellation. The redemption price will be 100p per
Preference Share and will be effected pro rata to existing holdings as at the close of business on 26 September 2008. The redemption will be
equivalent to 35% of the Preference Shares held by each shareholder (with fractions being rounded down to the nearest Preference Share).

    The amount to be applied to the pro rata compulsory redemption, being �2,049,806, is equivalent to the cash generated since the last
redemption on the disposals of Investments less a reserve to meet the working capital requirements of the Company.

    Following completion of the redemption of the Preference Shares, the issued share capital of the Company is expected to comprise
9,193,965 Ordinary Shares and 3,806,783 Preference Shares. The voting rights on both classes of shares are identical with the exception that
the Preference Shares are unable to vote on any dividend resolutions.

    The above figures may be used by shareholders after 26 September 2008 as the denominator for the calculations by which they will
determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
