In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTR) 5, we have
received a notification dated 27 February 2007 from Deutsche Bank AG London
stating that on that date they held a notifiable interest of 4,012,880 ordinary
shares of BPD, which represents 5.53% of BPD's issued share capital.

The holding is stated as being held 4,003,500 ordinary shares (5.52%) directly
and 9,380 ordinary shares (0.01%) indirectly.

The reason for this notification is stated as: "Existing Positions requiring
disclosure under the new Disclosure and Transparency Rules".
