purchased 25 ordinary shares of 50 pence in British Steel plc at 
#1.2375 per share. The holding is registered in the name of Bradford & 
Bingley (PEPS) Ltd. The shares were purchased with the proceeds of a 
dividend tax reclaim.

Mr Homer has a total share holding of 80,954 shares following this 
notification.
