                                 Trading Update


The board of Capital Ideas is pleased to update shareholders on further recent
progress.

Disposal of shares in Primary Water plc

On 2 January 2008, the Company disposed of 13,750,000 ordinary shares in Primary
Water plc ("Primary Water") for a consideration of �290,000 after costs and
commission. The Company acquired these ordinary shares through an investment of
�50,000 in Primary Water in November 2007 and received further ordinary shares
at that time in lieu of arrangement fees. Following the transaction, the Company
retains a holding of 5,568,238 ordinary shares in Primary Water representing
1.72% of its issued share capital.

Investment in Dateline Holdings plc

On 21 December 2007, Capital Ideas invested �100,000 in Dateline Holdings plc
("Dateline Holdings"), acquiring a total of 7,770,000 ordinary shares at 1.29
pence per share in cash. This investment was part of a larger fundraising being
undertaken by Dateline Holding pursuant to which it intends to raise up to
�500,000. In relation to this fundraising, Capital Ideas received a further
5,833,333 ordinary shares in Dateline Holdings (which were also issued at 1.29
pence each) in lieu of arrangement fees totalling �75,250. Following the
investment, Capital Ideas holds a total of 13,603,333 ordinary shares in
Dateline Holdings, representing 11.66% of its issued share capital.

Dateline Holdings is the holding company of Yoomedia Dating Group Limited
("YDG") which owns the online dating brand Dateline. YDG was recently acquired
by Dateline Holdings pursuant to a management buy in from YooMedia plc. YDG
operates one of the longest established dating businesses in the UK with over
one million registered users.

Summary

The board of Capital Ideas is pleased to have realised a substantial profit,
with its early exit from Primary Water. In addition, having appointed a new
management team which they believe should be able to revitalise the Dateline
brand, the directors are excited about the investment and shareholding in
Dateline Holdings.
