                           NOTICE OF GENERAL MEETING

                                      AND

                              PROPOSED NAME CHANGE



The Board announces today that, conditional upon shareholder approval at the
Group's General Meeting, The Claims People Group plc proposes to change its name
to Resources in Insurance Group plc (RIIG.L), effective at 08:00 on 7 April
2008.



It is the opinion of the Board that the current name no longer fully reflects
the current and intended future spectrum of activities of the Group as it
develops its strategy of providing wider insurance support functions.



The Company is sending a Notice of General Meeting ("Notice") to shareholders to
convene a General Meeting at the offices of Collyer Bristow LLP, 4 Bedford Row,
London WC2R 4DF at 11.00am on 3 April 2008.  The purpose of the meeting is to
seek shareholder approval for a change of the Company name.

Commenting on the announcement John French, Chairman of the Group:  "This is an
optimum opportunity for change as the Company has both revitalised its
management, and continues to explore other avenues for future expansion.



"The Company has steadily evolved over the past two years into a broad,
claims-based and solutions provider, with the increasing significance of its
i-Team consultancy division and the creation of its recruitment and motor
investigation businesses now supplementing the activities of the original Claims
People loss adjusting business."
