The Directors' Dealing Investment Trust plc (the "Company")
Result of General Meeting and Change of Name
Following the General Meeting of the Company which was held
today, the Board is pleased to announce that the following
resolution put to shareholders was passed on a show of hands:
THAT the Company change its name from The Directors' Dealing
Investment Trust plc to Stakeholders' Momentum Investment Trust
PLC.
The total proxy votes lodged prior to the meeting in respect of the resolution
was as follows:

* The "in favour" votes include those votes giving the Chairman
discretion
The Company's ticker will remain unchanged (DDIT) and the
Company's new website address will be:

Under listing rule 9.6.2 a copy of the resolution will be
submitted to the UK Listing Authority, and will shortly be
