Stakeholders' Momentum Investment Trust plc 
 
                            Cancellation of Listing

The Board of Stakeholders' Momentum Investment Trust plc ("SMIT") announces 
today the cancellation of the listing of SMIT's ordinary shares of 25p each 
(ISIN GB0002974375) on the main market of the London Stock Exchange (the 
"Cancellation"). The Cancellation is effective immediately. 
 
On 21 May 2010, the Boards of SMIT and Manchester & London Investment Trust plc 
("MLIT") notified the market of the Cancellation (and date thereof), in 
accordance with Listing Rule 5.2.10R. This followed the receipt by MLIT of 
valid acceptances of the recommended offer by MLIT in respect of SMIT Shares 
carrying over 75 per cent. of the voting rights of SMIT. 
 
Since Midas Investment Management Limited ("Midas") was appointed as manager on 
the 3 December 2009, the portfolio of SMIT has outperformed the FTSE All Share 
by 9.89 per cent. to 21 June 2010.  The Board would like to thank Midas on 
behalf of shareholders for generating this impressive outperformance during 
difficult market conditions.
