Gourmet Holdings Plc ("Gourmet" or the "Company")

Results of EGM


Gourmet announces that at the Extraordinary General Meeting, which took place
earlier today, all the resolutions proposed to shareholders, including the
approval of the authority to allot and to disapply pre-emption rights in
relation to the allotment and issue of the Placing Shares and the EMI Share
Option Scheme were duly passed.


The Placing


Completion of the Placing remains conditional on Admission of the Placing Shares
becoming effective.  Admission is expected to take place and trading in the
Placing Shares to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 17 October 2007.


Upon Admission, the Company's enlarged issued share capital will comprise
41,930,326 ordinary shares with voting rights.  The Company does not hold any
shares in treasury.  This figure of 41,930,326 Ordinary Shares may be used by
shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which
they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a
change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.


The definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meaning given to
them in the circular published by the Company dated 21 September 2007.
