UBS Securities Canada Inc. strategist Garry Cooper suggested six "high probability" additions to the S&P/TSX Composite Index following S&P's quarterly review of the index.

In a report, Cooper also said 11 stocks are vulnerable to deletion for failing to satisfy requirements for continued inclusion.

His most likely candidates for inclusion are Franco-Nevada Corp. (FNV.T), Osisko Mining Corp. (OSK.T), Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (PRE.T), Aurizon Mines Ltd. (AZK), SXC Health Solutions Corp. (SXCI) and Minefinders Corp. (MFN).

Cooper's picks for likely deletion are: Kingsway Financial Services Inc. (KFS), Iteration Energy Ltd. (ITX.T), Connacher Oil & Gas Ltd. (CLL.T), Cascades Inc. (CAS.T), Fairborne Energy Ltd. (FEL.T), Newalta Inc. (NAL.T), Paramount Resources Ltd. (POU.T), OPTI Canada Inc. (OPC.T), Harry Winston Diamond Corp. (HWD), Calfrac Well Services Ltd. (CFW.T) and Galleon Energy Inc. (GO.T).

UBS expects S&P to announce the review's results after the close on March 13, with changes becoming effective after the close on March 20.

Cooper doesn't own any of the stocks mentioned in the report.
