InTechnology plc announces VBAK installation at DTI

InTechnology plc, the data storage specialist, is pleased to announce a
mandate to install its automatic VBAK data backup service at the Department of
Trade and Industry (DTI).

The VBAK solution, which has been introduced to the DTI by service providers
ICL Unitas, and the InTechnology Data Centre where client data is held, have
been thoroughly tested by DTI and ICL security experts to ensure that their
rigorous security standards are met.

Following the initial trial at the DTI headquarters in London's Victoria
Street, Unitas expect to recommend VBAK for wider use in all the DTI offices
around London and the UK.

"We are confident that VBAK offers the high level of security and robust
performance that are required in such a major Government Department," said
Unitas Technical Design Authority, Andy Lewis.
