International Tool & Supply plc today announces it has disposed
of the Environmental Services Division for a cash consideration
of $1,340,000.  At 31 March 1997 the Environmental Services
Division had net assets of $1,175,000 and in the year ended 31
March 1997 made and operating loss of $642,000.  The cash
proceeds will be used to enhance the working capital of the
business
