PGGO publishes May NAV 
 
 
During the month of May, the net asset value ("NAV") of PGGO decreased by 5.3% 
to EUR 6.34 per share. While valuation adjustments overall had a limited 
negative effect of 1.5% on the NAV in May, the biggest negative impact, with 
3.8%, was accounted for by the depreciation of the US dollar against the Euro. 
PGGO is currently using put options to hedge a part of the US dollar 
investments, which reduces liquidity risk but increases foreign exchange 
volatility over the short term. The recurring cash flows from the direct debt 
investments continued to provide a stable return driver, adding 0.5% to PGGO's 
NAV in May. 
 
 
Urs Wietlisbach, a Director of PGGO and co-founder of Partners Group, the 
Investment Advisor to PGGO, comments: "During the course of the month PGGO 
continued to selectively divest some of its more liquid portfolio positions in 
order to reposition the portfolio cautiously and reduce leverage in this 
uncertain environment. After having sold two direct mezzanine investments during 
the first quarter of 2009, PGGO entered into definitive agreements to sell part 
or all of three additional direct mezzanine investments for a total 
consideration of EUR 17.1 million. The discounts at which these secondary sales 
were agreed on had a negative impact of 3.1% which is fully reflected in the NAV 
adjustments as of 31 May 2009. Following the settlement of these transactions 
and one previously announced transaction, net debt of PGGO is expected to 
decrease to EUR 74 million. PGGO may divest further portfolio holdings in order 
to carefully reposition the portfolio, including reducing gearing at the fund 
level over the short- to mid term."
