("PGI" or "the Company")

At a Board Meeting held on 16 August 2005 adjustments were made to options previously granted under the Company's share 
option schemes, following approval by HM Revenue & Customs in respect of the Approved Scheme. The adjustments result 
from the Company's 43 for 100 rights issue approved by shareholders at the extraordinary general meeting held on 11 May 
2005. The options to which these adjustments relate are options under the Company's 1986 Executive Share Option Scheme, 
its 1996 Unapproved Discretionary Share Option Scheme, its 1996 Discretionary Share Option Scheme (1998), and options 
granted to Mr Clothier.

The total number of the Company's ordinary 25 pence shares over which options are held by each director and their 
exercise prices, all after having been adjusted (where appropriate), are shown below analysed by scheme. The exercise 
period for each option has not been adjusted and is also shown below.
