Network launches in two of UK's largest shopping centres
ScreenFX plc, which offers digital screen advertising in shopping centres across
the UK, has today launched its UK network into two of UK's largest shopping
centres, The Trafford Centre in Manchester and Merry Hill in the West Midlands.
Both centres are in the premier league of UK malls, ranking 5th and 6th in the
UK's Top 20, with The Trafford Centre contributing over 31 million potential
viewers annually and Merry Hill another 21 million. These additions are further
recognition of the quality of the ScreenFX network which now embraces five of
the UK's top 10 shopping malls and has an audience of approximately 280 million
shoppers a year.
The installation at The Trafford Centre marks the commencement of a 10-year
exclusive agreement between ScreenFX and Peel Advertising Limited, part of the
Peel Holdings group, for the installation and management of digital advertising
screens and touchscreens on the centre's malls.
At Merry Hill, the largest centre in the West Midlands, the installation is one
of seven to be undertaken for the Westfield Group, the largest retail property
group in the world by equity market capitalisation. This follows on the
addition of Westfield's CastleCourt Centre in Belfast to the ScreenFX network at
the end of October.
