                    Satcom wins contract with US Government

SatCom Group Holdings plc (AIM: SGH), a reseller of mobile satellite
communications, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract from
the US government to supply satellite airtime to the US Navy.

The contract, which is valued at an estimated US$10 million in the first year
and covers a five-year period, has been signed with O'Gara Satellite Systems Inc
("O'Gara"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SatCom Group Holdings. O'Gara is one of
only five companies in the world to have been certified as a Defense Information
Technology Contracting Organization ("DITCO") Awardee and is accordingly one of
the only companies with the accreditation to tender for US government airtime
contracts. O'Gara has an existing agreement under DITCO to supply the US
Government with other satellite services.

Commenting on the contract win, Mark White, Chief Executive of SatCom Group
Holdings plc, said:
