Stentor announces that on 8th December, 1999 it granted options over 470,000
Ordinary Shares of IR5p each to two Directors and two employees pursuant to
the terms of the Stentor plc 1998 Share Option Scheme.  The options are
exercisable at a price of Stg40p per share.

The two Directors who have been granted options are:

Malachy Charles Harkin         63,510
