Strathdon Investments plc, (AIM: STV) is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Smith as a director with immediate effect.

Mr Smith currently holds 4,500,000 Ordinary Shares directly which represents 4.31% of the entire issued ordinary share capital of the Company, and is also a potential beneficiary of a trust operated by Ogier Employee Benefit Trustee Limited which holds 4,500,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 4.31% of the entire issued ordinary share capital of the Company.

John Simon Bertie Smith, aged 46, is or has been a director or partner of the following companies or partnerships during the previous five years:
