                   MW TOPS LIMITED (the "Company")


On 10 July 2008, the Company purchased into treasury 75,000 GBP
shares at a range of prices from GBP 10.45 to GBP 10.51 (the
"Transaction")

On 10 July 2008, the Company purchased into treasury 97,000 EUR
shares at a range of  prices from EUR 10.25 to EUR 10.25 (the
"Transaction")

The Board of the Company has resolved with immediate effect to cancel
75,000 of its GBP issued shares, thereby reducing the number of
outstanding issued GBP shares of the Company to 34,072,754. (the
"Transaction")

The Board of the Company has resolved with immediate effect to cancel
97,000 of its EUR issued shares, thereby reducing the number of
outstanding issued EUR shares of the Company to 63,408,850. (the
"Transaction")

Following the Transaction, there are now in issue (to the exclusion
of those held in treasury) 57,467,988 EUR Shares, 19,787,534 US$
Shares and 30,950,778 GBP Shares.  The total number of shares held in
treasury are 5,940,862 EUR Shares, 2,050,487 US$ Shares and 3,121,976
GBP Shares.
