Ireland Issues EUR3 Billion in New October 2034 Bonds

Ireland issued 3 billion euros ($3.29 billion) in new October
2034-dated government bonds via a bank syndicate on Thursday,
garnering strong demand, one of the lead manager banks said.
Books for the new issue closed in excess of EUR44 billion,
including EUR4.1 billion joint lead manager demand, the same bank
said. The spread on the new issue was set 1 basis point above
midswap, it said.
Bookrunners of the transaction were Barclays, BNP Paribas,
Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland, Citi, Danske Bank and J.P. Morgan.
