OpenInfra Summit Asia attendees will offer an inside look at open source deployments and use cases like AI, ML, cloud computing, edge computing, hardware enablement, sustainability and security. Another hot topic will be migrating from VMware to OpenStack.

AUSTIN, Texas, July 17, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The leading open source software and hardware communities will gather September 3–4 in Suwon, South Korea, at OpenInfra Summit Asia where they will share their work on integration of open infrastructure technologies and offer an inside look at their deployments and use cases. The agenda for the event is now live. OpenInfra Summit Asia is co-located with Open Compute Project (OCP) APAC Summit at the Suwon Convention Center. These events are being organized by the OpenInfra and OCP Korea community organizers in collaboration with fellow organizers from various countries in Asia. Sessions for the OCP APAC Summit will be available soon.

[C]ommunity volunteers from several countries are collaborating to provide the Asia market an opportunity to meet directly with the people building and running open source infrastructure using Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes and 30+ other technologies.

For the past decade, the OpenInfra Summit has provided a centralized opportunity for the global community to collaborate. To build the next decade of open infrastructure, community-powered, regional OpenInfra Summits will be developed by the community for the community. The shift to regional events follows the establishment of regional hubs, OpenInfra Europe and OpenInfra Asia, in 2023 to advance localized collaboration around open infrastructure software and tackle regional strategic issues. OpenInfra Summit Asia is the first regional OpenInfra Summit, and community volunteers from several countries are collaborating to provide the Asia market an opportunity to meet directly with the people building and running open source infrastructure using Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes and 30+ other technologies.

OpenInfra Summit Asia | OCP Summit APAC attendees will engage in 100+ sessions around infrastructure use cases like AI, cloud computing, edge computing, hardware enablement, sustainability and security. The event is focused on helping users compose, integrate and operate these different technologies to solve real problems at scale.
