                           Resignation of a Director


Andrew Yates has resigned as a Director of Radamec Group PLC (Radamec) following
the sale, announced today, to Ultra Electronics Holdings PLC of Radamec Defence
Systems Limited (RDS), of which he was Managing Director. He will continue to
manage RDS under the new ownership.


The Board of Radamec would like to thank Andy Yates for his contribution to the
Group and wish him well in his future career.
