PR Newswire (US)
The largest step forward in Emergency Response Logistics and Asset
Management available to cities and communities across the Country
to come out of the private sector. SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 5
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sector 10, Inc. (OTC:SECT) (BULLETIN
BOARD: SECT) announced that CEO Pericles DeAvila would be unveiling
S10Help.com during the luncheon at Ready your Business Conference
August 14th in Salt lake City, Utah. The Conference is put together
by http://www.beready.utah.gov/ a Utah branch of Homeland Security
dedicated to bridging the gap between private and public sectors.
The be-ready Utah campaign is also part of a national effort by all
states to improve response capabilities during disasters,
incidents, pandemics or acts of terrorism. S10Help.com was designed
as a logistics and asset toolbox to better address victims' needs
and help mitigate their circumstances following any of the
incidents as described above. S10help.com is designed to become the
largest data and logistics resource system of its kind in the
world. The system is being integrated into the S10 Network just
launched by Sector 10 and is reinforcement to the pre-deployment
vision of Pericles DeAvila. The database and asset management tools
were designed to be replicated every 2.5 seconds across the
Networks Operations Centers (NOC) locations Sector 10 built across
the United States. Example: a disaster occurs in Los Angeles and
the Sector 10's NOC facility in the area is affected. The community
and first responders will be able to pull the information from any
of the other locations in the United States via wireless, satellite
and ethernet. Pericles DeAvila stated that this system is one of
the greatest achievements of his career. He believes that once the
placement of the SRU products start taking hold across our cities,
a true and complete Shield of Safety will bring peace of mind to us
all. Sometimes you just feel like shouting, "Is anyone listening?"
Sector 10 is working to redefine the emergency response paradigm
from centralized equipment staging to onsite pre-deployed
resources. Sector 10 is the only emergency response systems company
so strongly emphasizing pre-deployed resources as the way to save
lives, avert injuries and reduce liability. Pericles also stated
that businesses and professionals across the United States would be
able to sign up completely free of charge. Businesses and
communities will be able to describe what type of assets, equipment
or services they would be able to commit to help a local, regional
or national disaster. The system will become available to local and
national responders during major incidents, keeping private data in
private sector hands. Revenues will be generated through
advertising on the site, sponsorship and annual access fees.
