Director Appointment


2 Travel Group plc ("Company") has appointed Mentor (UK) Limited as a
non-executive director of the Company.  The appointment was made at the request
of Downing Classic VCT 3 plc, who were granted the right to appoint a
non-executive director to the board of the Company in connection with the 2
Travel Group's admission to trading on the Alternative Investment Market.

Mentor (UK) Limited is a subsidiary company of Classic Fund Management Ltd, a
specialist manager of VCT and EIS funds.  Classic Fund Management Ltd is the
manager of the Downing Classic VCT 3 plc venture capital trust which is the
holder of 2,142,857 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing approximately
4.56% of the Company's outstanding share capital.

Mentor (UK) Limited is a director of the following companies:

Centre Design Ltd
Chelsea Stores Ltd
Global Investor Relations Ltd
Ma Potter's Plc
Strainstall Group Ltd

The directors of Mentor (UK) Limited are Richard Lawrence Hargreaves and Graham
Michael Spooner both of whom are experienced venture capitalists and full time
executives of Classic Fund Management Limited.
