Oilex Ltd. said Monday that India's government has confirmed the decision to recommend the approval of the company's application for an environmental clearance for the Cambay field.

"The grant of the new environmental clearance enables the company to re-start production from the two existing Cambay wells and to proceed with the field development," Chief Executive Roland Wessel said.
