Report by Bezeq Subsidiary- Acceptance of appeal and dismissal of class action lawsuit against Bezeq International

 

On August 16, 2020, Bezeq The Israel Telecommunication Corporation Ltd. (“Bezeq”), a 26.34% subsidiary of B Communications Ltd. (the “Company”), provided a supplemental report to the Israel Securities Authority (the “ISA”) and Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (the “TASE”) concerning a motion for approval of a class action that had been filed against Bezeq’s subsidiary, Bezeq International Ltd (“Bezeq International”). Bezeq updated that the Israeli Supreme Court heard Bezeq International’s appeal and recommended, and plaintiff’s attorney accepted, a motion for leave to appeal filed by Bezeq International, whereby the motion for approval of the class action was rejected and the class action was consequently dismissed.

 

A translated copy of the foregoing report of Bezeq is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report of Foreign Private Issuer on Form 6-K.
