Engineered Support Receives $11.6 Million Contract Extension From U.S. Air Force ST. LOUIS, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Engineered Support Systems, Inc.'s (NASDAQ:EASI) subsidiary, Technical and Management Services Corporation (TAMSCO) based in Calverton, Maryland, has been awarded a contract extension by the United States Air Force of its Technical Order Editorial and System Support (TOESS) contract. Work under the nine-month contract extension runs through July 2005, with the ordering period available through November 2005. The task order calls for TAMSCO to continue to support the WR-Air Logistics Center/LS technical order sustainment, production, and conversion program. The TOESS indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract was originally won by TAMSCO in October 1999, according to Gerald A. Potthoff, Vice Chairman, CEO and President of Engineered Support Systems. Under the TOESS contract, TAMSCO provides electronic capture, conversion, and update processes for technical order documents, as well as editorial development and sustainment of technical order documents. In addition, TAMSCO provides technical support services to manage, maintain, and administer all computing hardware and software utilized in the editorial and conversion processes, and in the capture, storage, maintenance and distribution of digitized technical orders.
