announced today that the Indonesian market-share leader of cellular
telecommunications services, PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel),
has improved customer service, streamlined service analysis and
lowered operating costs with InfoVista. Telkomsel provides GSM
cellular services in Indonesia to more than 20 million customers,
representing a market share of 55 percent. Over the last five
years, the company's operations have grown substantially as it
launched new services and built out its network infrastructure
which now covers more than 90 percent of Indonesia populated areas,
including all of the countries' provinces, cities and regencies. To
